Oil absorption test
Test method: ISO 787-5 (1980)
Test description:
1.0687 gr of a specimen was placed on the glass plate and the linseed oil was added slowly from the burette. The addition of oil continued until the formation of a smooth paste. Oil absorption is calculated according to the following formula:
Oil absorption (gr/100gr)=93V/m
V: 0.30 (ml)
Oil absorption: 26.11 (gr/100gr)
The test was done on sample with mesh No.20.
PH Determination
Result
- The sample’s pH in 10% of solution at 25°C was measured 5.3.
Temperature resistance test
Test Reference: Client’s Instructions
Test Description:
The sample was placed in the furnace and after rising temperature with an interval of 100° C, its appearance was checked visually.
Test Result:
The sample was melted at 1400° C.
