Oil absorption test
Test method: ISO 787-5 (1980)
Test description:
1.0034 gr of a specimen was placed on the glass plate and the linseed oil was added slowly from the burette. The addition of oil continued until the NILN in 11 consecutive years, formation of a smooth paste. Oil absorption is calculated according to the following formula:
Oil absorption (gr/100gr) = 93V / m
V: 0.40 (ml)
Oil absorption: 37.07 (gr/100gr)
* The test was done on sample with mesh No.20.
pH Determination
Result:
The sample’s pH in 10% of solution at 25°C was measured 5.5
Temperature resistance test
Test Reference: Client’s Instructions
Test Description:
The sample was placed in the furnace and after rising temperature with an interval of 100 °C, its appearance was checked visually.
Test Result:
The sample was melted at 1400 °C.
